Does anyone know how long the court order on shutting down Stonebrakers blogsite in going to be in place?
Mike, is'nt this the paper that referred to itself as the honest newspaper? There are about as honest as the MFPD BOD.

Not only does the Call not pay their bills, but they are short-sighted and quick to forget also. I point to the recent editorial about how Mehlville, under Terry Noble, is finally headed in the right direction financially. Now, I like and respect Mr. Noble, and feel is has done the best he could possibly do. However, the Call blames Mehlville's current financial troubles on Tim Ricker and the school board of that time, which you were on. They seem to forget, and never mention, Jerry Chambers...you know, that "fill-in" superintendent who the Call LOVED who pushed for a 6% pay increase with no way to pay for it. Or who pushed to spend over $1million to renovate St. John's for SCOPE, or who gave all administrators a 6% raise. And the school board of Jerry Chambers is pretty much the same as the current....So why isn't that mentioned? Could it be because the Call would NEVER admit that they were wrong about that guy? That he was just trouble? Hmm, then is Tim Ricker to blame for the Call's problems? Or maybe it's your fault Mike!!! Thanks to the Call for wanting transparency from everyone but themself.
It appears to me that Chief White thinks he is smarter then all County Fire Chiefs when he in deed is the dumbest of all. Just look at all of the houses he has burnt down. This guy is a real a--hole of all Chiefs.
No court order on Stoney - wishful thinking. Do you idiots just make it up as you go along? I hear that he is bored with the whole deal and not blogging anymore.
Let us be fair, 8:40. Chief Timmy has not torched any houses...that we know of. He has merely allowed already flaming structures to continue to burn. There IS a difference, albeit not to the homeowner.

White waited till Silvernail was gone to bring this reckless crap up. As useless as Silvernail was, there were SOME things even he wouldn't have stood for.
What will this do to mutual aid? Neighboring departments are already taking steps to protect their own people on mutual scenes because they don't trust our officers to do it. Now, when Mehlville shows up to assist in their districts, they will know there's a good chance the least experienced guy on the crew is actually in charge. Inspires confidence, doesn't it?
Timmy claims "seniority" should be irrelevant. Of course he's too stupid to equate experience with seniority. He really IS going to get people killed. Mehlville personnel need to assess how much risk they are willing to assume with idiots in charge and a crapass disability policy in place.

Why do they want to test employees that have already been tested before they took their leadman positions? Most have many years experience in these positions. It would seem more relevant to test the chief. Why do they want the captains out of the union? How many captains are sitting on their union executive board, today? Is this another union busting plan? Is any of this legal? It is time for their union president to show respect and get some. Grow some nades or step down! You better hire an attorney quick before you lose it all.

Heard someone is going to make a motion at the union meeting. This vote of NO CONFIDENCE is long overdue. The public will support the Fire Fighters and Paramedics when they find out they have been mislead and lied to. Once that happens I hope Red Lobster has some openings.
