Nobody likes getting a ticket. Nobody likes the idea of it being easier through a
camera to get a ticket. But as a civilized society, we realize that we must conform to rules that promote the public safety. Certainly rational people can agree on this.
But Senator Lembke doesn't care about public safety. Or should I say, Senator Lembke cares more about politics than he cares about public safety?
Lembke has been fighting his ticket for running a red light for a year now. A year!
He's gotten the assistance of the Show Me Institute's lawyers in trying to overturn his violation of the law.
Perhaps I'm being nostalgic when I remember a time when conservatives were about law and order and responsibility.
Upcoming: defendant JAMES LEMBKE and court case number 1122CR00921. A(n) Hearing has been scheduled for 1/26/2012 at 9:30 AM. This will take place in St Louis City Circuit Court, located at: 10 N. Tucker Blvd. in St. Louis, MO 63101.
Defendant Lembke may seek another delay again to further serve his political interests.

Sounds like Lembke should get a darwin award. He runs a red light and then refuses to pay for the ticket. CAUGHT ON CAMERA This is the same guy that sits back in his easy chair in Jefferson City and passes laws that he expects all of us to abide by. Why should any of us abide by a law that he passes when he doesn't abide by laws of the land.
Amen. Be honest. Have these cameras made you ever come to a stop when the light is yellow rather than risk getting caught sneaking past it a little late?
I believe the red light cameras have made most law biding citizens aware of stopping at most intersectional when the signals first turn yellow. Most fatal accidents occur at four way stops lights where an individual runs a red light and hits the other vehicle broad side. Run light runners have very little concern for other lives and put everyone in arms way when they do there red light running. A person like Jim Lembke should know that running red lights causes death and destruction at our intersections and yet he makes all kind of excuses after he gets caught on camera. This guy is with out question a poor excuse of being a legislator and representing law bidden citizens.
I am a Republican in South County and I can't stand Jim Lembke. He sure don't stand for what I believe. I feel he gives all of us that are trying to do a good job egg on all of our faces.

No matter what Lembke does he still ran a red light. NOT A YELLOW, NOT A GREEN BUT A RED LIGHT and caught on camera. I bet this IDIOT carrys a weapon and probably doesn't have a carry permit. When you have a person in office like Jim Lembke, the only thing I can see. PLEASE DEAR GOD HELP US ALL:
