In Good Taste
I have to agree with a couple of comments I got about an insensitive post, so I've deleted it. I shouldn't have posted it. I don't edit the posts. I try to leave most of them in, even the ones the don't speak highly of me. To those who were offended, I'll apologize on behalf of the writer. Remember readers, just because someone says they belong to an organization doesn't mean that's who they really are. Posting anonymously allows people to pretend they are other people. Let's move on.

Thanks for removing that blog. I know for a fact a lot of individuals were very up set over the one comment. Its time to move on and stop some of the in fighting of the fire district.
And move on we shall, but I believe there still will be a great deal of fighting. We currently have two individuals who are out of work because they were participating in legal activities. We still have a board that thinks it's ok to skirt the law.Respect is a two way street.
Since when is personally harassing a fellow union member legal? Mr. Becker should be filing a federal complaint with the EEOC.
You darn liberals are always wanting to run to the feds for help. I don't know why Mr. Becker should file a complaint with the EEOC. According to the fire district's administration, he never filed one with the district. I heard his brother Mike Becker filed the complaint.This is the state license fee operator that ran the anti-public schools slate on behalf of Rex Sinquefield in the last school board election. Maybe Mike Becker should file the complaint for his brother with the EEOC.

FACT - Mr. Becker left the City of Ladue F.D. under a clould. Less than [2] years another cloud is over this young man. What's wrong with this picture? It is said he did not complain about anything, why are his relatives fighting his alleged battles for him? I feel a little sorry for him because all his friends are doing are casting a cloud over him and his future.
Heins lets see what happens when the board makes the investigation tapes public and presents them to the news media. I do believe you and others will be eating crow.

Do you think when the other side ties the investigative firm to the Lemay Fire Department and Mr. James Stonebraker (aka the Truth Defector) that might shake up their credibility? And how is it you have some knowledge as to what's on the tapes? I think you don't know squat.
Mike, if you're into truth, you need to stop calling that school board slate "anti public school" as you're totally wrong about those people. They're concerned about monetary waste within the Mehlville School District as all taxpayers should be.

None of those people can speak of any waste in our district, only that they don't want to spend money on public school kids. I don't like several members of our school board, but to say they wasted money just because you disagree with their actions is dishonest.

Mike is absolutely right. There were 3 anti public education candidates on the ballot in April who never let facts get in the way of their "Mehlville is wasting your money" slogan. They were more concerned about their wallets than improving education for students. Long term, it was good for the community AND our property values that those 3 lost.
You must have forgotten who the school board candidates were as Mike Becker wasn't one of them.
You're the one who's dishonest as none of the candidates on that slate ever said they "don't want to spend money on public school kids."
7:45 No, I didn't forget that Mike Becker, license fee office holder and supporter of Kenny Hulsof, was not one of the candidates for the slate. He was the money launderer, I mean treasurer,for Rex Sinqufield, I mean for the slate. It would me easy to forget the names of the three as other than Brown, the others practically did nothing and Brown just stuck out a few old signs. Becker was the puppetmaster and frankly, not a very good one. And to your comment that they didn't say they "didn't want to spend money on public school kids", Hitler never said he was going to attack Poland, either.

6:16 I would find it difficult to defend the position that I'm not crazy, I'll grant you that. As to comparing the amount of class I have to Marty Becker, I think I can do quite well. Frankly, getting the political connections to get a state fee office gets you no points with anyone. He'll also have to butter up(cash) to Mr. Hulshof to keep that fee office. And while I lost an election, I also served honorably. As to who I lost to, does it mean John Ashcroft has less class because he was beaten by someone who was deceased? I doubt you can get any Republicans to say that. And how about Marty's problems with women? Doesn't that seem a little less than classy? I'll keep trying, thanks.

I was surprised to read in the Call that a 3rd Congressional district candidate (John Wayne Tucker) taught in the Mehlville School District. Do you know anything about him?
You said 3 of the Mehlville School Board candidates did nothing when they ran, what did the others do that you consider something?
I don't think John Wayne has taught in the district for a few years. Chris Brown at least filed a committee. Of course, all he did with the money was turn it over to Mike Becker for the slate. He also handed out some yard signs that he purchased for the elecion the year before.That's not much but it's something.
I wasn't talking about Chris Brown or his slate. What did the others do that was noteworthy?

The 5 other candidates all filed individual campaign finance reports which showed they all went out and worked for the support they received. I have no idea what Karl will do. He marches to the beat of another drummer.
