South St. Louis County is a nice place to live. It'll be a better place when Call Newspapers no longer exist. Do what you can to make that happen. Don't read it, advertise in it or support those that do.

Mike, I was just comparing the Mehlville Fire website to yours. I am comparing the dates and times for the board meetings, and they don't match up. Are your dates right or, is the District's website the correct date and time?
Also your website looks great. keep up the good work.
Thanks for the kind words. The district's website is not up to date. There is no statutory requirement for them to keep it up to date so it's often ignored. It's really a waste of our tax dollars. The webmaster is provided with meeting agendas prior to meetings but they aren't posted till after the meetings. The only way you can get timely, semi-accurate information about board meetings is to check the HQ's window at 4 pm daily for a posting. I try but can only do so much.
Dont worry 9:33 THe dates and times will change again. You are not supposed to know what the actuall times is because it makes the meeting run a whole lot smother if no public shows up to ask questions.

Sounds like this Hilmer character likes to see his name in the news papers but doesn't really want to deal with the public. What a shame.
