Mehlville Fire Department Burns the Truth

On Sept. 21st, 2006, MFPD Board Chairman Arron Hilmer wrote this to the Call Newspapers.

"The owner of a $200,000 house will save $694 this year alone and this does not include taxes on cars, boats, etc. which are taxed at even a higher rate."

I live in a $195,000 home and my taxes are down $74. That includes the taxes on my cars.

The Call continues to promote this propaganda.

Diehl Loses Against Fred Weber

Diehl's lawsuit against Fred Weber came to an abrupt conclusion on Friday as Judge Dierker ruled that Weber was not the cause of Diehl's problems.

Burning Down the House

The citizens of Mehlville have been fed a steady diet of bullshit by the Board of Directors of the Mehlville Fire Department. I've heard about huge savings going to the average property owner. Here we are 4 years later and I've watched them ruin a fine department and for what?
I just looked at the breakdown for my taxes since 2005. I've gone from paying $275 per year to $201 for fire and ambulance service in 2008.

Call Publisher Refuses to Answer Questions about Contract with the Mehlville Fire Department

As most of you know, the MFPD Board of Directors has rewarded the Call newspapers for their favorable coverage by inserting their new district "Hotline" in it to be distributed to every household in the fire district. But not every household got one and inquiring minds want to know why! The district has said they don't know and Call Newspaper President/Owner Bill Milligan refuses to answer any question about it's distribution.
Ethics complaints are already being prepared about another letter sent from the district. It also didn't go to every household but to just targeted voters in the district.

In typical fashion, Kit Bond is heading on the road today to take credit for getting $40 million for low-income housing in Missouri, when he not only voted against the bill, but also trashed it as the "trillion dollar" baby. While the bill was being debated, he also tried to claim we were on his side in opposition at a rate of 4 to 1, without evidence. Isn't there, say, a union local or two in Southwest Missouri who could meet Bond and shame him for his opposition to the stimulus package?

I could easily post this man's exact home address and I could say that burning him alive inside his home is warranted - but that would deny the civil and criminal justice system that we must cling to in order to avoid the whole of US Society unraveling and making the crazy survivalists seem rational.
No doubt about it - Stewart Parnell is a rat-bastard who ought to be destroyed by horrible and swift retribution - but he won't be.
He has killed at least 8 and sickened over 600 - the man is a sociopath. Imagine the penalty for killing 6 and wounding 600 in any other type of crime? But, he's a wealthy man and because he is wealthy he does not play by the same rules as 98% of the rest of us must.
Maybe, in a few years, he'll pull an OJ and will finally get to see the inside of a cell - but the Maddof news keeps coming (another $25 meg scooped up by spouse just months before the Ponzi Scheme became public) and he's still free.
Steal $100.00 and go to jail. Steal $50 Bl and go to luxury condo. Kill one person in a robbery and face life without parole or execution but kill 8 and sicken 600+ and retreat to your luxury home in the horse country.
