Milligan's Shenanigans

The recent news about the Crestwood fire proposal reminds me of some other Bill Milligan/Call Newspaper's shenanigans.
About 3 years ago, Milligan called our school district wanting to anonymously report a district employee for sexual harassment. The secretary recognized his voice and he confirmed it.
After a thorough investigation, in which the Call’s employees refused to cooperate, the district employee was cleared of the charges.
It was quite interesting to read the Suburban Journal following Crestwood’s Mayor Robinson’s election. It seems that just before he was to take office, an anonymous sexual harassment claim against him was called in to the city. I’m sure there was no evidence to back up this allegation.
Perhaps this was a coincidence. I would guess it’s more likely a pattern.
Remember, they’re not content on reporting bad news; they’ll even help it along.

Wow, now that's very interesting indeed!

Mike, do you have any idea what's in this for Mehlville or the Call that would have them pushing it so hard?

I would speculate it's about broadening his political base for the future. I'm told that this type of offer was just turned away by Lemay but it was not picked up by the media.I really don't know about the fire department's business but I know of Mr. Hilmer's propensity to distort the facts. I also know if Hilmer wants it and the city doesn't do it, Crestwood will get nothing but bad press from the Call. I realize that last sentence is redundant.

Bad press from the Call is normal for Crestwood! We have a couple of "third rate ward healer wannabees" there who fancy themselves as being the "pulse" of the City!

Truth be known, neither one of them could manage his way out of a revolving door, but they do like to tell us what's right for Crestwood!

The one thing that seems to bind them both toghether is the fact that neither one has ever ran for anything, not even dog catcher, so where did all that knowkedge come from, pray tell?

Lemay FPD has NEVER been approached by Mehlville FPD to merge. The Mehlville fire fighter's union has been spreading this lie for several years. Perhaps you should contact one of the Directors at Lemay before spewing this baseless rumor.

If you are going to write something, at least include some facts to support your paranoid postulations.

Oh, C'mon. I mentioned it, not spewed it. Read a dictionary. And I meant nothing other than that Lemay might be a source to check. I'm not gonna call anybody cause it doesn't matter to me. I assume these kinds of things are looked at formally and informally all the time. I've mentioned before that I know little about fire district business, but I seem to get lots of heat when I mention it. I'll say this, because of the unproffessional relationship between Milligan/Call Newspapers and Hilmer/Fire Board, there is no credible information spewed anywhere. I'll give you an example. Prior to Hilmer, we were treated with a comparison of closed meeting and open meeting times and yet there is no comparison now. Numerous complaints have been filed with the Missouri Attorney General's Office forcing them to comply with the open meetings law.The Call would have been all over them
( pre-Hilmer)for a technical violation of the Sunshine Law.
As for repeating a rumor, let me ask this. Perhaps you hear a county councilman is having financial problems, then you hear he's cited twice for theft of services, then you hear his business folds, you see has paid his taxes late and read he has taken a job working for a business/cult that he has made favorable votes on. When should you start talking about the rumor?

Gee, southcountymike, you can't even stay on subject. Are you having a "senior moment"?

It may be a senior moment or perhaps a little of the Mad Cow. Thanks for calling attention to my scattering of topics. As the kids say-My Bad!

Speaking of rumors, tell us a little about your friendship with Dennis Skelton.

SouthCountyMike said...

I'll tell you anything you'd like to know. I've met Mr. Skelton twice. Once, outside of Lindbergh HS while I was handing out flyers listing Mr. Milligan's legal problems and once out a fire board meeting. I don't know if I'd recognize him if I ran into him at the mall.

Amazing, now we are to be told who we can be friends with, or who we might meet!

Golly, I do love liberals so!
