Lembke Likes to Party

I wonder if Rep. Lembke will have his buddy, Mr. Family Values, Rep. Scott Muschany, over to his party on Friday. And will they cancel the party if Senator McCain fails to show up for the debate? Update 09/29/08 Senator McCain has changed his mind and will be at the debate this evening.

The Missouri Republican Party just sent out its list of watch parties around the state for Friday night’s first presidential debate between Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama.

Lembke for Senate
6124 S. Lindbergh St. Louis, MO 63123

When: 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about AGAIN, there is no party at Lembke's HQ tonight.

I know what I'm talking about. If Lembke and his band of merry friends aren't having a party, they need to ask the Missouri Republican Party to issue another news release. It's also posted on the Post Dispatch's website. You can follow the link on the right under People, Politics, St. Louis.

I have called Lembke's headquarters and they no nothing about it.

Why does it matter if Lembke's having a party? He's not the only one.
Are you infatuated with him and mad you didn't get a personal invite?

5:53 and 12:42 I guess I knew what I was talking about. See today's (Sunday) Post Dispatch. The have interviews with the guests including John Wayne Tucker. Now can I get my apoligy you owe me?
7:41 I merely stated there was a party. Then I got these silly denials. I'm not offended that I wasn't invited. I would, however, like to be invited to Lembke's weekly poker game in Jefferson City. Also, dogs get mad, people get angry.

There is nothing wrong with a celebration, if you have a reason to celebrate. The debate on Friday was like watching grass grow. Nothing happened that wasn't expected. It was the same stuff we've already heard. Both sides could have hammered each other more and choose not to. Because of the financial situation yet to be resolved in Washington, neither side wants eat crow for what they say prematurely. I believe the debates will get better! Hopefully, Lembke saved some sacks for the next debate. The national polls still show Obama in the lead.

12:02 I have to agree with you. I think most people watch debates like they do a car race, just waiting for the crash. If you believe the polls, Senator Oboma won this time and increased his lead nationally. Here in Missouri, he's climbed considerably. Thursday's show from Washington University should be fun. Go Bears!

Having been a fan and participant in car racing for over 40 years, I take slight exception to the slap at car race fans. I confess, however, that I was indeed waiting for either of the candidates to lose control, slap the fence and crash into a hunk of crumpled junk.
Maybe next time.

Obama what a joke, lie lie lie.

I received a phone call yesterday from the Lembke campaign office. Without asking, they told me Jim Lembke supports and works closely with labor unions. Is this true??? They also asked for my vote and if they could place a sign in my yard.

Since you have Judged Lembke guilty by association with Muschany, what about your close friendship with a criminal like Dennis Skelton?

SouthCountyMike said...

I don't think Lembke is guilty of anything other than being a irresponsible legislator. Muschany and Lembke's voting records are similar and hypocritical and they need to be judged for that reason. Mr. Skelton and I don't have a relationship. I don't even find him attractive. As to his criminal record, please share with me what you know. I'm all ears.

6:07 pm Mr. Lembke has made some deals for labor support in the past. He does not enjoy that support now.

Mike you need to look at the sign on Labor 110 building next time you are driving south on I-55. There is indeed a Lembke sign there.

SouthCountyMike said...

That's what I heard. Laborers are just one local. I'm sure a hundred or so other locals support his opposition.

Why do you refer to Lembke as an "irresponsible legislator"?
I've asked this question before. When are you going to answer?

Anonymous said...

And, why don't you just admit that you're a Democrat?
I've never seen you once hammer one.

These groups might endorse Obama but I bet as individuals and in the polling place you will see s different vote.

5:47 That comment was about the Lembke/Barry race, but you make a point. I guess Senator McCain is starting to believe they will as he's pulled his staff out of Michigan.

Who is "John Wayne Tucker"?

IF McCain WAS DRIVING HIS CAR RIGHT NOW, YOU WOULDN’T WANT TO BE ON THE SIDEWALK!
Why doesn't Senator McCain try to be more focused on the middle class than he seems? If he did, he would win this race. He could look more stable and less desperate in his campaign, if he would just stop with his flip-flopping. People need to feel secure and trust their president, like we did 4 years ago when we re-elected President Bush.

Do you really think that Obama will be for the white middle class?

SouthCountyMike said...

1:02 I pray not. It's my hope and belief he will be for all Americans, white, black, brown, red, etc.
