Mr. Heins,
Whenever you have some new information instead of the same old regurgitated sewage that you call "evidence," feel free to post it. Until then, put up or
shut up.

One must remember that "it's good to be the blog master!" When you "put up" the funds to start your blog, you also get the freedom to post what you wish!

I think Mike "put up" very well, and as for your shut up comment, well why should he?

Either enjoy his missives, or don't, but either way, you do not get to tell him to shut up!

C'mon the Call beats dead horses about as much as they like to beat the crap out of women. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. What you don't like is the content, which is the truth taken from public records.I think of it as sewage also, which is why Milligan should clean up his act. As far as telling me to shut up, I don't think so. I'm an American! Are you another journo-fascist who thinks that only the weakly newspaper has the right to free speech.

I'm glad you have free speech. It gives us a perverse sort pleasure to witness such guile.

Has anyone besides me noticed that the verbage used on the truth spot is the exact same as the "paper?"

Interesting that somewhat obscure words find their way into both missives, no?

Like I said before, I don't go there anymore but I'm guessing it's being run by James Stonebraker with help from Mike Anthony at the direction of Bill Milligan and Arron Hilmer. Stonebraker has to hide in the background because of his wife's business with Hancock and their business with the State Republican Party. He's an embarassment to them.

Conspiracy anyone?

I don't know about conspiracy, but Stonebraker and Milligan have become such strong bedfellows, they must share the same pillow. Seriously, I hear about all of the letters that Stonebraker gets printed in the Call. They're not hiding their relationship. Also, the verbage in the Call matches the Truth Defector. Last week Burke Wasson used the words spew and venom when referring to a top ten quote of the year. Ever see those words before. Either he writes for the Truth Defector or he's lifting their material. How sad is that?

I worked for The Call. I was surprised at the paranoia those two exhibited in tandem. Local politicians were 'after them.' Their offices were 'bugged' with listening devices, most likely placed in the ceiling with permission from their landlord. Bill spent at least two hours per day on the toilet reading the Post-Dispatch and arguing verbally with it. Mike had huge sweat stains on his shirts because he couldn't afford a vehicle with air conditioning. The only actual 'work' I ever saw Milligan do was sit in his office snickering for an hour as he wrote one of his editorials. Afterward he would read it to Anthony who would giggle or guffaw at the proper passage. I was also amazed at the contempt they expressed about the communities they covered, the politicians and candidates and fire and school district officials, and especially the citizens. Milligan once said to me that the people in Lemay were so 'f###ing stupid they would need a letter from city hall to tell them that their a##es were on fire.' Milligan started his own newspaper because he couldn't get along with anyone at The Jefferson County Journal. They were simply too professional.
