Has Jim Lembke Stepped Off in the Deep End ?

I knew Jim Lembke had some oddball ideas, but he's really becoming an embarrassment to our community. As reported in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, it appears Lembke didn't take kindly to a fellow politician's daughter losing in a child custody dispute. Jim decided to try to have the judge impeached. This has only been done three times since our state constitution was enacted 1945. The Republican State Representative from the area Darrell Pollock backed the judge's integrity. Fortunately, Missouri House Speaker Rod Jetton put a stop to this nonsense before it could go very far.
I can't imagine a worse scenario for our courts than to have state legislators running around trying to impeach them for doing their jobs.

Mr. Lembke- Here's your sign!

With some of there rulings, someone needs to keep an eye on them. We have the worst court system in North America and it is proven by some of the rulings that are made without any thyme or reason. Limbke is one of the only legislators that probably is doing his job and everyone in South County should be very proud having him as there Rep.

So much for being a part of the sweet sixteen. Lembke, Bivins, and now Mike Becker are all disciples of Hilmer and Stoney. Mike, why would a guy get involved in the Mehlville School District when he does'nt live in the area and has no children.

I agree with oversight. This though was an absurd abuse of power. He should be ashamed.

Because these people have become grouches at a young age. It's very sad.

Have you seen the article in the Post Dispatch by Susan Weich on doing your homework before voting on the fire district canidates dated April 1, 2008. It really hit the nail on the head on what Mr. Hilmer is doing to save the hardworking citizens in the Mehlville Fire District there hard earned funds. It also shows all of the improvements to the fire district since the new board as been in office. You people run the Call newspaper down however the Post is saying the same thing.

How is Mike involved with the Mehlville School district?

I'm just a parent in the school district.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the Post Dispatch. But also notice I don't spend a lot of time telling people what's wrong what's inside the Call. Inteeligent people already know that, I try tie together their unethical and sometimes illegal actions relating to their business.

Mehlville fire has gone down the tubes. Hiring a bunch of Paramedics with NO experience who want to leave as soon as they start. If you people only knew......

I agree that we have many concerns about the services of the MFD but we still have many fine men and women who work there. It could be in very bad shape in a short period of time.

Mike if you are so damn sharp why don't you put your big mouth in action and run for the fire board and get your butt beat again. WHAT A JOKER AND IDIOT:

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think I'll be running for anything for a while but I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

Citing his attack on the state’s judiciary and values out of touch with Missourians, the Committee to Stop Lembke was created to oppose the election of Jim Lembke to the State Senate. Rep. Jim Lembke proposed eliminating the Missouri Nonpartisan Court Plan, which has protected Missouri courts for nearly seven decades by requiring the selection of judges based on merit rather than on political affiliation.
